Born in Buenos Aires, Ms. McCoy recieved her music degree from Loyola University in New Orleans. She is a nationally board-certified orchestra director, specializing in elementary-level instruction. She performs on violin and viola in several regional Georgia orchestras, including Macon Symphony Orchestra, Gainesville Symphony Orchestra, Rome Symphony Orchestra, Ocmulgee Symphony Orchestra, and St. Cecilia Consort (a Baroque period music ensemble). She was officially introduced to tango as music, dance, and lifestyle in Atlanta more than two years ago. She also freelances locally performing for weddings and private functions.
